Whether you can donate a few hundred or a few thousand dollars, every little bit counts towards our goal of bringing our students access to new books, current technology and extracurricular activities that expose them to the world of opportunities. We rely on the generous support of individuals and corporations to provide funds to close the gap between state funding and basic school needs.

Donations from individuals and corporations, as well as grants from private foundations, qualify for maximum tax benefits allowable by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Why We Depend on Donations

California uses a complex redistributive system coupled with local tax revenues to fund schools based on "per student" funds. As a charter school, EPACS depends on public funds, but the Ravenswood District is only provided with half the funds per student as other districts in Silicon Valley.

1. We operate with 50% of Palo Alto's public support and 40% of Woodside's public funds
2. This disparity makes it difficult to provide adequate teacher pay and comparable classroom education
3. Hard work and dedication can help bridge the gap, but we need donor support to provide extracurricular activities, field trips and athletics

Cash Gifts

80% of our gifts come from individuals. Your gift directly impacts the school by going to much needed infrastructure and programs improvements and the quality of EPACS' academic program.
