Academic Achievements
Our expectation is that all students at EPACS will be prepared to attend college as a result of our rigorous curriculum and high expectations. EPACS is a standards-based school — which means that we teach all California State Standards at each grade level. Our commitment and hard work have paid off.

  • EPACS has had a 10-out-of-10 similar schools ranking every year since 2002

API Scores: EPACS vs. California Averages

The Academic Performance Index (API) is the cornerstone of California's Public Schools Accountability Act of 1999. The purpose of the API is to measure the academic performance and growth of schools. The statewide API performance target for all schools is 800, on a scale ranging from 200-1,000.

EPACS is succeeding not only relative to similar schools in the community, but our results compare well to the state wide average. Starting 20% behind state elementary averages, we are now 3% above the average.
